We are pleased to announce that we will be getting married in Canada! We would love to have you join us! While we know this is quite the trip, we do not expect everyone to attend.

Our ceremony will be short and non-traditional. There will be no seating. Dinner will be later in the evening in Banff National Park. We will not be having a formal reception, however we will be hosting small intimate gathering in the late evening back at Folk Tree Lodge following dinner. You are welcome to come celebrate with us and enjoy drinks and a bonfire.
This will be an adult-only event, take this time to celebrate with us and enjoy a little vacation! Please no phones or photography; be present with us in this moment!

Airfare continues to fluctuate throughout the next few weeks but is expected to rise.
You will need a rental vehicle.

Driving:
30hour one-way trip
You will most likely drive through the Upper Peninsula coming from Michigan. The route has tolls, crosses boarders and time zones.
Michigan is 2 hours ahead of Calgary.
Our wedding day does require driving, as the accommodations, ceremony & dinner are all distances apart.

For the ultimate Banff experience, we recommend staying inside Banff National Park. The ceremony is not inside the park, but we will be driving that way for dinner. The only way to experience Banff for its true beauty is to go there! We recommend doing this after the ceremony & before dinner.
You can stay in Banff as well!
This puts you 1hr20mins away from the ceremony & bonfire location but there are many scenic locations with beautiful resorts, hotel and landscapes. Our Dinner location will be inside the park near the town of Banff.

Because this is an elopement, there are many friends and family members who have not been invited to this event.
It is our wish that this event be kept private.
We ask that you please refrain from bringing your cell phones or cameras to our ceremony.
This is a small, private event and we wish for you to be present with us!
Gifts are not expected, your attendance is a gift within itself!
